The New Talent Award
A Mother's Broken Heart; Crazie Productions
The New Talent award is designed to recognise new creatives who have come through the Ability Media programme.
Stephanie Vaz, Jonathan Franco, Lex Quiambo, Gonzalo Lim-Cedilla and Michael Hagan are all Ability Media students who created the moving and insightful short film, A Mother's Broken Heart.
The film is based upon a poem by Michael Hagan and tackles the complex issues of a mother's loss as a consequence of war.
