The Tempest, RSC and The Baxter Theatre Centre
The winner in the Theatre Category is a critically acclaimed production of the “The Tempest”. Directed by Janice Honeyman, The Tempest was performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in the Baxter Theatre Centre, Johannesberg.
It continued the legacy of the RSC’s groundbreaking Complete Works Festival which the company used to develop creative partnerships with theatre companies from around the world.
