V2V - Starbucks Coffee Company
In 2008, Starbucks introduced the social networking site, V2V. The platform is used to encourage employees and customers to post service opportunities that address the issues they care most about both locally and globally. Over 20,000 Starbucks’ employees and customers have registered and nearly 2,000 actions have been posted to date. The goal of this impressive CSR initiative is to contribute over 1 million hours of community service annually by 2015.
